Sometimes users want to look at the relationship between images without any changes (transformation) of the original images. i2k Retina Pro allows users to do this using Synchronize processing
In this example, a color red free< fundus image and a color fundus image have been added to the display and selected. On the upper right, the Synchronize processing type has been selected. Following a user click of the Process button, i2k Retina Pro runs the registration computation, but does not transform the images. Instead, it immediately launches the viewer in Sync Scroll mode:
The two original images are shown side-by-side. Any mouse click on one image will show the corresponding location in the other image. The user can zoom in on each image individually.
Another example of the synchronization feature is seen in a separate
application available to compare OCT images.
